AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for application for driver's
3 license or learner's permit.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 1506(a) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 1506. Application for driver's license or learner's permit.
9 (a) Form and content.--Every application for a learner's
10 permit or driver's license shall be made upon a form furnished
11 by the department and shall contain such information as the
12 department may require to determine the applicant's identity,
13 competency and eligibility. A military leave and earnings
14 statement (LES) is an acceptable form of identification for
15 purposes of this subsection. The form may also provide for
16 inclusion of personal medical information and other information
17 of use in an emergency.
