AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing for expungement of juvenile records.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
6 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
7 § 1556. Expungement of juvenile records.
8 If a minor who does not hold a driver's license at the time
9 of a conviction for an offense under section 1532(c) (relating
10 to suspension of operating privilege) receives an order from a
11 court of competent jurisdiction expunging the record of the
12 minor, the department, on receiving a certified copy of the
13 order, shall expunge the records pertaining to the minor and
14 section 1532(c).
15 Section 2. This act shall be retroactive to June 1, 2003.
16 Section 3. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
