A RESOLUTION
1 Designating April 19, 2006, as "Pride of the Neighborhood
2 Academies, Inc., Day" in Pennsylvania.
3 WHEREAS, Pride of the Neighborhood Academies, Inc., (PNA) is
4 a private nonprofit organization that provides day care,
5 preschool and before-and-after-school care for children 12
6 months to 13 years of age; and
7 WHEREAS, PNA has been operating in the City of Harrisburg
8 since 1968 and teaches more than 200 children daily in six sites
9 throughout the city; and
10 WHEREAS, April 19, 2006, marks the 38th anniversary of PNA's
11 founding; therefore be it
12 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives designate April
13 19, 2006, as "Pride of the Neighborhood Academies, Inc., Day" in
14 Pennsylvania and commend PNA for its service to society; and be
15 it further
16 RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be transmitted to
17 Pride of the Neighborhood Academies, Inc., 1458 Market Street,
1 Harrisburg PA 17103.
