AN ACT
1 Amending Title 53 (Municipalities Generally) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, further providing for reimbursement of
3 expenses.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 2170(e) of Title 53 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 2170. Reimbursement of expenses.

10 (e) Payment of mandatory in-service training.--
11 (1) Except as set forth in paragraph (2), the commission
12 may pay for the cost of mandatory in-service training for all
13 police officers to the extent determined by the commission.
14 (2) All of the following shall be ineligible for
15 reimbursement of any expense under this section incurred
16 during their police officer training:
17 (i) A college or university.
1 (ii) Railroad and street railway police.
2 [(iii) The Capitol Police.]
3 (iv) The Harrisburg International Airport Police.
4 (v) An airport authority police department.
5 (vi) A housing authority security or police
6 department.
7 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
