        INTRODUCED AND ADOPTED, FEBRUARY 5, 2003

                                  A RESOLUTION

     1  Designating the week of February 9 through 15, 2003, as "Career
     2     and Technical Education Week" in Pennsylvania.

     3     WHEREAS, The observance of Career and Technical Education
     4  Week serves to increase public understanding and appreciation of
     5  the value of career and technical education; and
     6     WHEREAS, Career and Technical Education Week is an
     7  opportunity to encourage appreciation for the importance of
     8  career and technical education; therefore be it
     9     RESOLVED, That the Senate designate the week of February 9
    10  through 15, 2003, as "Career and Technical Education Week" in
    11  Pennsylvania.
