                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 23 (Domestic Relations) of the Pennsylvania
     2     Consolidated Statutes, further providing for continuing
     3     jurisdiction over support orders.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Section 4352 of Title 23 of the Pennsylvania
     7  Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
     8  § 4352.  Continuing jurisdiction over support orders.
     9     * * *
    10     (b.1)  Petition for accounting.--Upon petition of the obligor
    11  and after a hearing and a showing of good cause, the court may
    12  order an obligee to account for the manner in which child
    13  support payments are spent. A petition for an accounting must
    14  state with specificity the reasons why the obligor believes that
    15  the child support is not being spent for the benefit of the
    16  children. If, after the hearing, the court dismisses the
    17  petition for an accounting, the court may order the obligor to

     1  pay costs and the reasonable attorney fees of the obligee.

     3     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
