AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Senator John Heinz Pittsburgh
2 Regional History Center in Pittsburgh for operating expenses.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $600,000 is hereby appropriated to the
6 Senator John Heinz Pittsburgh Regional History Center,
7 Pittsburgh, for the fiscal year July 1, 2004, to June 30, 2005,
8 for operating expenses, including maintenance and the purchase
9 of apparatus, supplies and equipment.
10 Section 2. Payments to the Senator John Heinz Pittsburgh
11 Regional History Center on account of the appropriation provided
12 in section 1 shall be made quarterly by the Executive Director
13 of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
14 Section 3. The Senator John Heinz Pittsburgh Regional
15 History Center shall provide full, complete and accurate
16 information as may be required by the Pennsylvania Historical
17 and Museum Commission or the chairman or minority chairman of
1 the Appropriations Committee of the Senate or the chairman or
2 minority chairman of the Appropriations Committee of the House
3 of Representatives.
4 Section 4. This act shall take effect July 1, 2004, or
5 immediately, whichever is later.
