AN ACT
1 Amending the act of November 10, 1999 (P.L.491, No.45), entitled
2 "An act establishing a uniform construction code; imposing
3 powers and duties on municipalities and the Department of
4 Labor and Industry; providing for enforcement; imposing
5 penalties; and making repeals," creating the Uniform
6 Construction Fund.
7 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
8 hereby enacts as follows:
9 Section 1. The act of November 10, 1999 (P.L.491, No.45),
10 known as the Pennsylvania Construction Code Act, is amended by
11 adding a section to read:
12 Section 703. Uniform Construction Fund.
13 (a) Establishment.--There is established in the State
14 Treasury a nonlapsing restricted receipt account to be known as
15 the Uniform Construction Fund for the deposit of all fees
16 authorized by this chapter.
17 (b) Distribution of funds.--All money deposited in the
18 account and any investment income accrued are appropriated
1 annually to the Department of Labor and Industry for the
2 purposes of this act.
3 (c) Purpose.--The department shall utilize the fund to
4 administer this act.
5 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
