AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Department of Education for New
2 Choices/New Options for the fiscal year 2003-2004.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Appropriation.
6 The following amount is appropriated to the Department of
7 Education for fiscal year 2003-2004:
8 New Choices/New Options.
9 State appropriation.........................3,700,000
10 Section 2. Construction.
11 This act shall be construed consistent with the act of March
12 20, 2003 (P.L. , No.1A), known as the General Appropriation
13 Act of 2003, and any provision in that act that applies to
14 appropriations to the Department of Education shall apply to
1 this act.
2 Section 3. Effective date.
3 This act shall take effect July 1, 2003, or immediately,
4 whichever is later.
