AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for license and permit
3 application.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 1506 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 1506. Application for driver's license or learner's permit.

10 (c) Fee reduction for CPR certification.--An applicant is
11 entitled to a 10% reduction in the fee charged by the department
12 for a permit and for a license if the individual is certified in
13 cardiopulmonary resuscitation by an entity recognized by the
14 Emergency Medical Services of the Department of Health to issue
15 certification.
16 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
