                                  A RESOLUTION

     1  Honoring the firefighters of the City of Reading, Pennsylvania.

     2     WHEREAS, The firefighters of the City of Reading,
     3  Pennsylvania, have served their community with valor and
     4  dedication for the last 229 years; and
     5     WHEREAS, The events of the last year have once again reminded
     6  us of the service to mankind that the firefighters perform every
     7  day; and
     8     WHEREAS, Those firefighters perform selfless tasks quietly
     9  and usually without the recognition that they deserve; therefore
    10  be it
    11     RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives honor the
    12  firefighters of the City of Reading, Pennsylvania, and join all
    13  of the citizens of this Commonwealth in expressing sincere
    14  appreciation for their service to protect their fellow citizens
    15  from the ravages of fire. May God bless all of them along with
    16  their families who support them in their loyalty and service to
    17  others.
