A RESOLUTION 1 Memorializing the United States Postal Service to issue a Coal 2 Miners' Postal Stamp. 3 WHEREAS, Our entire Nation owes our coal miners a great deal 4 more than we could ever repay them for the difficult and 5 dangerous job that they performed so that we could have the fuel 6 we needed to operate our industries and to heat our homes; and 7 WHEREAS, It would be proper and fitting for our Nation to 8 recognize our coal miners, both past and present, for their 9 contributions to this Nation; therefore be it 10 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives memorialize the 11 United States Postal Service to issue a postal stamp to honor 12 our coal miners and to commemorate their contributions to our 13 Nation and its citizens; and be it further 14 RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be delivered to the
