        INTRODUCED AS NONCONTROVERSIAL RESOLUTION UNDER RULE 35,
           JUNE 7, 2000

                                  A RESOLUTION

     1     Honoring the labor leadership of Daniel L. Woodall, Jr., of
     2  the Borough of Norristown, Montgomery County.

     3     WHEREAS, Daniel L. Woodall, Jr., is a resident of Norristown,
     4  Montgomery County; and
     5     WHEREAS, Mr. Woodall is the business manager of Local 135,
     6  Laborers' International Union of North America; and
     7     WHEREAS, Mr. Woodall began his association with Laborers'
     8  Local 135 in 1970 and was appointed its steward in 1972,
     9  recording secretary in 1977, and president in 1978, and he has
    10  served as its business manager since 1987; and
    11     WHEREAS, Mr. Woodall is the current president of the
    12  Philadelphia Laborers' District Council and, in addition to
    13  serving on several other boards, was appointed by the Governor
    14  to the Pennsylvania State Apprenticeship and Training Council in

     1  1999; and
     2     WHEREAS, Mr. Woodall is involved in numerous civic and
     3  charitable events; and
     4     WHEREAS, Mr. Woodall is married and has two daughters, who
     5  are 19 and 24 years of age; and
     6     WHEREAS, Mr. Woodall is an individual who espouses quality
     7  union leadership, civic endeavors and family harmony; therefore
     8  be it
     9     RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives honor the labor
    10  leadership of Daniel L. Woodall, Jr., of the Borough of
    11  Norristown, Montgomery County.
