AN ACT
1 Extending the deadline for adoption of municipal budget
2 ordinances for certain fiscal years.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Date for adoption of budget.
6 Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary,
7 the governing body of a municipality located in a county of the
8 second class shall adopt its budget ordinance and set a millage
9 rate for the first fiscal year in which the municipality is
10 subject to a countywide revision of assessments no later than
11 January 31 of that fiscal year.
12 Section 2. Effective date.
13 This act shall take effect immediately.
