HOUSE BILL

                                     AN ACT

     1  Authorizing the Department of General Services, with the
     2     approval of the Governor, to quitclaim to Rush Township a
     3     tract of land situate in Rush Township, Centre County.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  The Department of General Services, with the
     7  approval of the Governor and the Secretary of Public Welfare, is
     8  hereby authorized to convey to Rush Township certain land
     9  described in section 2 for 1 dollar.
    10     Section 2.  The property to be conveyed pursuant to section 1
    11  consists of 0.6013 acres of land, more or less, situate in Rush
    12  Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania bounded and described as
    13  follows:
    14  ALL THAT CERTAIN piece or parcel of land situated in the
    15  Township of Rush, County of Centre and State of Pennsylvania,
    16  bounded and described as follows:
    17  BEGINNING at an iron pipe located on the East side of Logan
    18  Street. Said point is also the Northwest corner of, now or


     1  formerly, Pennsylvania Electric Co.; thence along said Road,
     2  North 27 degrees, 03 minutes East, one hundred thirty-three and
     3  ninety-six hundredth feet (133.96) to an iron pin corner located
     4  on the South side of Davis Street; thence along said Davis
     5  Street, South 68 degrees, 27 minutes, 35 seconds East, one
     6  hundred fifty feet (150.0) to an iron pin located on the West
     7  side of an existing dirt alley; thence along said alley, South
     8  27 degrees, 01 minute, 05 seconds West, two hundred sixteen and
     9  seventy-seven hundredths feet (216.77) to an iron pin and also
    10  the Northeast corner of, now or formerly, Pennsylvania Electric
    11  Co.; thence along lands of same, North 38 degrees, 21 minutes
    12  West, one hundred sixty-four and thirty-four hundredths feet
    13  (164.34) to an iron pin and place of beginning.
    14  CONTAINING 0.6013 acre and being Tax Parcel No. 05-26B019 on
    15  Rush Township, Center County Tax Map.
    16     Section 3.  The conveyance authorized by this section shall
    17  be made under and subject to all lawful and enforceable
    18  easements, servitudes and rights of others, including, but not
    19  confined to streets, roadways and rights of any telephone,
    20  telegraph, cable, water, electric, sewer, gas or pipeline
    21  companies, as well as under the subject to any lawful and
    22  enforceable interest, estates or tenancies vested in third
    23  persons, appearing of record, for any portion of the land or
    24  improvements erected thereon.
    25     Section 4.  The Deed of Conveyance authorized by this section
    26  shall be a quitclaim deed and shall be approved as provided by
    27  law and shall be executed by the Secretary of General Services
    28  in the name of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
    29     Section 5.  Cost and fees incidental to the conveyance
    30  authorized by this section shall be borne by the Grantees.
