AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to The Children's Hospital of
2 Philadelphia.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $500,000 is hereby appropriated to The
6 Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, for the fiscal year July 1,
7 2000, to June 30, 2001, for comprehensive patient care for
8 children from birth through age 19 and for general maintenance
9 and operation of the hospital. Payment of this appropriation
10 shall be made by the Secretary of Health in equal quarterly
11 payments.
12 Section 2. The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia shall
13 provide full, complete and accurate information as may be
14 required by the Department of Health or the chairman or the
15 minority chairman of the Appropriations Committee of the Senate
16 or the chairman or the minority chairman of the Appropriations
17 Committee of the House of Representatives.
1 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2000, or
2 immediately, whichever is later.
