AN ACT
1 Amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), entitled "An
2 act relating to the public school system, including certain
3 provisions applicable as well to private and parochial
4 schools; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the
5 laws relating thereto," further providing for payments on
6 account of pupils enrolled in vocational curriculums.
7 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
8 hereby enacts as follows:
9 Section 1. Section 2502.8(c) of the act of March 10, 1949
10 (P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949, added
11 June 26, 1999 (P.L.394, No.36), is amended to read:
12 Section 2502.8. Payments on Account of Pupils Enrolled in
13 Vocational Curriculums.--* * *
14 (c) For the school year [1998-1999] 1999-2000 and each
15 school year thereafter, any additional funding provided by the
16 Commonwealth over the amount provided for the school year [1997-
17 1998] 1998-1999 will be distributed to area vocational-technical
18 schools and to school districts [with eight (8) or more
1 vocational programs] based on subsection (b).
2 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
