                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 51 (Military Affairs) of the Pennsylvania
     2     Consolidated Statutes, providing for disabled veteran's
     3     pension.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Title 51 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     7  Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
     8  § 7703.  One hundred percent disabled veteran's pension.
     9     (a)  Amount and eligibility.--In addition to any other
    10  assistance provided by the Commonwealth except pensions provided
    11  in sections 7701 (relating to blind veteran's pension) and 7702
    12  (relating to paralyzed veteran's pension) and in addition to any


     1  compensation provided by the Federal Government, every veteran
     2  determined by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs
     3  to be 100% disabled shall be paid a pension of $100 per month.
     4  Applications for the pensions shall be made to and in the form
     5  prescribed by the department. The Adjutant General shall
     6  determine the eligibility of every applicant for a pension, and
     7  his decision in the matter shall be final.
     8     (b)  Regulations.--The Adjutant General shall promulgate such
     9  regulations as may be necessary to implement the provisions of
    10  this section.
    11     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
