AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Pennsylvania Higher Education
2 Assistance Agency for child care loan forgiveness.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $740,000, or as much thereof as may be
6 necessary, is hereby appropriated to the Pennsylvania Higher
7 Education Assistance Agency for the fiscal year July 1, 1999, to
8 June 30, 2000, for child care loan forgiveness. This
9 appropriation shall be in addition to any other amounts
10 appropriated for the same or similar purposes for the fiscal
11 year July 1, 1999, to June 30, 2000.
12 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
