AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing for a Gettysburg Civil War memorial
3 registration plate for motorcycles; and establishing the
4 Pennsylvania Monuments at Gettysburg National Military Park
5 Fund.
6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
7 hereby enacts as follows:
8 Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
9 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
10 § 1354.1. Gettysburg Civil War memorial motorcycle registration
11 plate.
12 (a) Plate.--The department shall design a Gettysburg Civil
13 War memorial registration plate which shall have a replica of
14 the main Pennsylvania Monument at the Gettysburg National
15 Military Park and shall display the words "Gettysburg 1863."
16 Upon application of any person, accompanied by a fee of $35
17 which shall be in addition to the annual registration fee, the
18 department shall issue the plate for a motorcycle.
1 (b) Use of fee.--Of each fee paid under subsection (a), $15
2 shall be deposited into the Pennsylvania Monuments at Gettysburg
3 National Military Park Fund, which is hereby established. The
4 moneys in the fund shall be used solely to preserve and restore
5 the Pennsylvania monuments and sites surrounding the monuments
6 at the Gettysburg National Military Park.
7 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
