                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 65 (Public Officers) of the Pennsylvania
     2     Consolidated Statutes, further defining "meeting."

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5     Section 1.  The definition of "meeting" in section 703 of
     6  Title 65 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended to
     7  read:
     8  § 703.  Definitions.
     9     The following words and phrases when used in this chapter
    10  shall have the meanings given to them in this section unless the
    11  context clearly indicates otherwise:
    12     * * *
    13     "Meeting."  Any prearranged gathering of an agency which is
    14  attended [or participated in] by a quorum of the members of an
    15  agency held for the purpose of deliberating agency business or
    16  taking official action.

     1     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
