AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for issuance and content of
3 driver's license.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 1510 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 1510. Issuance and content of driver's license.

10 (b.1) Identification card for minors.--The department shall
11 establish a program to issue an identification card to persons
12 who are not less than 5 years of age and not more than 16 years
13 of age for the purposes of, but not limited to, banking and air
14 travel.

16 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
