INTRODUCED AS NONCONTROVERSIAL RESOLUTION UNDER RULE 35,
JUNE 11, 1997
A RESOLUTION
1 Congratulating Mansfield University Mountaineers Baseball Team
2 on capturing the 1997 PSAC Baseball Championship.
3 WHEREAS, The Mansfield University Mountaineers captured the
4 1997 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Baseball
5 Championship on May 11, 1997; and
6 WHEREAS, This is the fifth conference title for the
7 Mountaineers in the last six years; and
8 WHEREAS, The Mountaineers, under the capable tutelage of
9 Coach Harry Hillson, compiled a record of 34 wins, 21 losses and
10 1 tie and will now advance to the NCAA Division II East Regional
11 Tournament; therefore be it
12 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives congratulate the
13 Mansfield University Mountaineers baseball team on winning the
1 1997 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Baseball
2 Championship; and be it further
3 RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be transmitted to
4 the Mansfield University Mountaineers baseball team.
