                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, further providing for the retention of lawfully
     3     taken game or wildlife.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Section 2307(b) of Title 34 of the Pennsylvania
     7  Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
     8  § 2307.  Unlawful taking or possession of game or wildlife.

    10     (b)  Retention of game or wildlife lawfully taken.--[Except
    11  as fixed by regulation of the commission, game] Game or wildlife
    12  lawfully taken within this Commonwealth during the open season
    13  may be retained by residents [until the end of the license year
    14  in which taken] for a period of one calendar year.

    16     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
