        REFERRED TO COMMITTEE ON EDUCATION, MARCH 18, 1998

                                     AN ACT

     1  Repealing the act of May 24, 1881 (P.L.29, No.32), entitled, "An
     2     act defining the power of boards of directors of sub-district
     3     schools, of cities of the second class, to provide for the
     4     purchasing of lots of ground, erection of school buildings,
     5     and other expenses of maintaining schools in their respective
     6     districts, and to borrow money for such purposes."

     7     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     8  hereby enacts as follows:
     9     Section 1.  The act of May 24, 1881 (P.L.29, No.32),
    10  entitled, "An act defining the power of boards of directors of
    11  sub-district schools, of cities of the second class, to provide
    12  for the purchasing of lots of ground, erection of school
    13  buildings, and other expenses of maintaining schools in their
    14  respective districts, and to borrow money for such purposes," is
    15  repealed.
    16     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
