AN ACT
1 Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for the organization of the
3 Pennsylvania Game Commission.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 301(b) of Title 34 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 301. Organization of commission.

10 (b) Qualifications.--An individual who has been or is an
11 employee of the commission, including deputy wildlife
12 conservation officers, within the last five calendar years prior
13 to the date of appointment may not serve as a member of the
14 commission. The members of the commission shall be appointed
15 from the various geographical sections of this Commonwealth so
16 that one and only one shall be a resident of each of the
17 following districts:
1 (1) The counties of Erie, Crawford, Mercer, Lawrence,
2 Venango, Butler, Warren, Forest and Clarion, constituting the
3 first district.
4 (2) The counties of Beaver, Allegheny, Washington,
5 Greene, Armstrong, Indiana, Westmoreland and Fayette,
6 constituting the second district.
7 (3) The counties of McKean, Elk, Jefferson, Potter,
8 Cameron, Clearfield, Clinton and Centre, constituting the
9 third district.
10 (4) The counties of Cambria, Somerset, Blair, Bedford,
11 Huntingdon and Fulton, constituting the fourth district.
12 (5) The counties of Tioga, Lycoming, Union, Bradford,
13 Sullivan, Columbia, Montour and Northumberland, constituting
14 the fifth district.
15 (6) The counties of Snyder, Mifflin, Juniata, Franklin,
16 Perry, Cumberland, Adams, Dauphin, York, Lebanon and
17 Lancaster, constituting the sixth district.
18 (7) The counties of Susquehanna, Wyoming, Luzerne,
19 Lackawanna, Carbon, Wayne, Pike and Monroe, constituting the
20 seventh district.
21 (8) The counties of Schuylkill, Berks, Chester,
22 Northampton, Lehigh, Bucks, Montgomery, Philadelphia and
23 Delaware, constituting the eighth district.

25 Section 2. The amendment of 34 Pa.C.S. § 301(b) shall not
26 apply to the current members of the Pennsylvania Game Commission
27 on the effective date of this amendatory act.
28 Section 3. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
