AN ACT
1 Providing for agreements for purchase of group insurance by
2 school directors.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Group insurance.
6 Each board of school directors shall have the power to enter
7 into agreements with other boards of school directors to form a
8 pool for the purpose of purchasing group insurance covering the
9 district employees' health, hospitalization or medical service.
10 Section 2. Collective bargaining.
11 Nothing in this act shall be construed to affect the terms of
12 existing collective bargaining agreements.
13 Section 3. Effective date.
14 This act shall take effect in 60 days.
