                                     AN ACT

     1  Requiring all prison inmates to wear identifiable prison
     2     uniforms at all times.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5  Section 1.  Definitions.
     6     The following words and phrases when used in this act shall
     7  have the meanings given to them in this section unless the
     8  context clearly indicates otherwise:
     9     "Prison."  A state, county, regional or local prison or
    10  correctional facility.
    11  Section 2.  Inmate uniform requirements.
    12     All prison inmates shall wear identifiable prison uniforms at
    13  all times.
    14  Section 3.  Inmate civilian clothing prohibition.
    15     All prison inmates are prohibited from wearing civilian


     1  clothing while incarcerated.
     2  Section 4.  Effective date.
     3     This act shall take effect in 60 days.
