                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, providing for inspection of used vehicles.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5     Section 1.  Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     6  Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
     7  § 4702.2.  Inspection of used vehicles.
     8     (a)  General rule.--A dealer or individual may not sell a
     9  used vehicle that does not have a currently valid certificate of
    10  inspection.
    11     (b)  Penalty.--Any person violating this section commits a
    12  summary offense.
    13     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
