                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of June 30, 1995 (P.L.   , No.5A), entitled "An
     2     act to provide from the General Fund for the expenses of the
     3     Executive, Legislative and Judicial Departments of the
     4     Commonwealth, the public debt and for the public schools for
     5     the fiscal year July 1, 1995, to June 30, 1996, for certain
     6     institutions and organizations, and for the payment of bills
     7     incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal year
     8     ending June 30, 1995; to provide appropriations from the
     9     State Lottery Fund, the Energy Conservation and Assistance
    10     Fund, the Hazardous Material Response Fund, The State Stores
    11     Fund, the Milk Marketing Fund, the Home Investment Trust
    12     Fund, the Emergency Medical Services Operating Fund, the Ben
    13     Franklin/IRC Partnership Fund, the Tuition Payment Fund and
    14     the Banking Department Fund to the Executive Department; to
    15     provide appropriations from the restricted revenue account
    16     within the General Fund to the Pennsylvania Public Utility
    17     Commission; to provide appropriations from the Judicial
    18     Computer System Augmentation Account to the Judicial
    19     Department; to provide appropriations from the Motor License
    20     Fund for the fiscal year July 1, 1995, to June 30, 1996, for
    21     the proper operation of the several departments of the
    22     Commonwealth and the Pennsylvania State Police authorized to
    23     spend Motor License Fund moneys; to provide for the
    24     appropriation of Federal funds to the Executive and Judicial
    25     Departments of the Commonwealth and for the establishment of
    26     restricted receipt accounts for the fiscal year July 1, 1995,
    27     to June 30, 1996, and for the payment of bills remaining
    28     unpaid at the close of the fiscal year ending June 30, 1995;
    29     and to provide for the additional appropriation of State and
    30     Federal funds for the Executive Department of the
    31     Commonwealth for the fiscal year July 1, 1994, to June 30,


     1     1995, and for the payment of bills incurred and remaining
     2     unpaid at the close of the fiscal year ending June 30, 1994,"
     3     further increasing the appropriation to the Pennsylvania
     4     Public Utility Commission.

     5     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     6  hereby enacts as follows:
     7     Section 1.  As much of the State appropriation to the
     8  Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission in section 1501 of the
     9  act of June 30, 1995 (P.L.  , No.5A), known as the General
    10  Appropriation Act of 1995, is amended to read:
    11     Section 1501.  Pennsylvania Public
    12  Utility Commission.--The following
    13  sums, or as much thereof as may be
    14  necessary, are specifically
    15  appropriated from the restricted
    16  revenue account within the General
    17  Fund and from Federal augmentation
    18  funds to the Pennsylvania Public
    19  Utility Commission to provide for the
    20  operation of the commission for the
    21  fiscal year July 1, 1995, to June 30,
    22  1996, for the purposes and in the
    23  amounts shown:

    25     For the salaries, wages and all
    26  necessary expenses for the proper
    27  operation and administration of the
    28  Pennsylvania Public Utility
    29  Commission, including the chairman and
    30  commissioners and the Bureau of Safety
    31  and Enforcement.
