AN ACT
1 Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing for a lifetime hunting license award.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Title 34 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
6 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
7 § 2705.1 Lifetime hunting license award.
8 (a) Drawing.--The commissioner is authorized to hold an
9 annual drawing of applications for a permanent lifetime hunting
10 license award. Anyone who has reached the age of majority may
11 enter the drawing by filling out an application provided by the
12 commissioner and paying a fee of $5. There is no limit to the
13 number of applications a person may enter. The commissioner
14 shall choose 25 recipients of the permanent license by a random
15 drawing from all the applications.
16 (b) Procedures.--The commissioner shall establish procedures
17 necessary to implement this section.
1 (c) Agent.--The agent at the point of sale shall retain a
2 fee of 25¢ per application.
3 (d) Game Fund.--Fees collected under this section shall be
4 deposited into the Game Fund.
5 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
