AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for a special registration plate
3 for veterans and members of United States military airborne
4 units.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
8 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
9 § 1358. Special plates for United States military airborne
10 units.
11 Upon application of any person who is a veteran of or a
12 member of a United States military airborne unit, accompanied by
13 a fee of $20, which shall be in addition to the annual
14 registration fee, and by such documentation as the department
15 shall require, the department shall issue to the person a
16 special registration plate designating the vehicle so licensed
17 as belonging to a person who is a veteran of or a member of a
1 United States military airborne unit. The special registration
2 plate may be used only on one passenger vehicle or one other
3 vehicle with a registered gross vehicle weight rating of not
4 more than 9,000 pounds.
5 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
