                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 51 (Military Affairs) of the Pennsylvania
     2     Consolidated Statutes, further providing for the pay of
     3     officers and enlisted personnel.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Section 3102 of Title 51 of the Pennsylvania
     7  Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
     8  § 3102.  Pay of officers and enlisted personnel in active State
     9             service.
    10     (a)  General rule.--When the Pennsylvania National Guard or
    11  Pennsylvania Guard, or any part thereof, is ordered on active
    12  duty for State service by the Governor as Commander-in-Chief and
    13  pay is authorized for such duty under the order prescribing the
    14  performance thereof, the commissioned officers, warrant officers
    15  and enlisted personnel so ordered shall be entitled to the same
    16  pay and allowances and transportation in kind provided for in


     1  the current Armed Forces Pay and Allowance Act. Notwithstanding
     2  any provisions of such act, the pay of any such personnel shall
     3  not be less than [$45] $75 per day.
     4     (b)  Payments and deductions.--All payments of pay and
     5  service shall be made by the Adjutant General in the usual
     6  manner. No deductions shall be made from the pay of officers or
     7  enlisted personnel in active State service for dues or other
     8  financial obligations imposed by any bylaws, rules or
     9  regulations of a civil character.
    10     Section 2.  This act shall apply to all pay periods beginning
    11  after the effective date of this act.
    12     Section 3.  This act shall take effect immediately.
