AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for the use of hazard signal
3 lamps.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 4305 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 4305. Vehicular hazard signal lamps.

10 (d) Use in school zones.--The driver of a motor vehicle or
11 combination equipped with simultaneous flashing signals shall
12 use the signals when the vehicle or combination is passing
13 through a school zone, as defined and established by the
14 department under section 3365(b) (relating to special speed
15 limitations), during the operational hours of that school zone.
16 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
