                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, further providing for revocation of habitual
     3     offenders' licenses.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Section 1542(b) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
     7  Consolidated Statutes, amended December 12, 1994 (P.L.   ,
     8  No.143), is amended to read:
     9  § 1542.  Revocation of habitual offender's license.

    11     (b)  Offenses enumerated.--Three convictions arising from
    12  separate acts of any one or more of the following offenses, not
    13  based upon the same incident, committed by any person shall
    14  result in such person being designated as a habitual offender:
    15         (1)  Any violation of Subchapter B of Chapter 37
    16     (relating to serious traffic offenses).
    17         (2)  Any violation of section 3367 (relating to racing on
    18     highways).


     1         (3)  Any violation of section 3742 (relating to accidents
     2     involving death or personal injury).
     3         (4)  Any violation of section 3743 (relating to accidents
     4     involving damage to attended vehicle or property).

     6     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
