A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
1 Rejecting the Revised Sentencing Guidelines published by the
2 Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing.
3 WHEREAS, On May 14, 1994, the Pennsylvania Commission on
4 Sentencing published Revised Sentencing Guidelines at 24 Pa.B.
5 2483; and
6 WHEREAS, Under 42 Pa.C.S. § 2155 (relating to publication of
7 guidelines for sentencing) the General Assembly has a 90-day
8 period to reject these guidelines by concurrent resolution;
9 therefore be it
10 RESOLVED (the Senate concurring), That the General Assembly
11 reject the Revised Sentencing Guidelines published at 24 Pa.B.
12 2483 by the Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing; and be it
13 further
14 RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be immediately
1 transmitted to the Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing.
