AN ACT
1 Amending Title 30 (Fish) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, prohibiting the imposition of fees on watercraft
3 other than motorboats.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 5303 of Title 30 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 5303. Voluntary and special registrations.
9 (a) Option.--Watercraft other than those required to
10 register under this chapter may be registered at the option of
11 the owner upon payment of the fee specified by section 5104
12 (relating to fees).
13 (b) Access fees prohibited.--The commission may not impose a
14 fee or charge of any nature for the use of facilities, such as
15 access areas, owned by the commission, by watercraft other than
16 motorboats.
17 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
