                                     AN ACT

     1  Providing for the application of sentencing guidelines to
     2     certain drug-related convictions; and making repeals.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5  Section 1.  Sentencing guidelines.
     6     The sentencing guidelines promulgated by the Pennsylvania
     7  Commission on Sentencing shall govern violations of the act of
     8  April 14, 1972 (P.L.233, No.64), known as The Controlled
     9  Substance, Drug, Device and Cosmetic Act, committed on and after
    10  the effective date of this act.
    11  Section 2.  Repeals.
    12     The following acts and parts of acts are repealed:
    13     18 Pa.C.S. § 6314.
    14     18 Pa.C.S. § 7508.
    15  Section 3.  Effective date.
    16     This act shall take effect immediately.
