                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, further providing for revocation or suspension of
     3     operating privilege.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Section 1532(a) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
     7  Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a paragraph to read:
     8  § 1532.  Revocation or suspension of operating privilege.
     9     (a)  Revocation.--The department shall revoke the operating
    10  privilege of any driver for one year upon receiving a certified
    11  record of the driver's conviction of or an adjudication of
    12  delinquency based on any of the following offenses:

    14         (4)  Any violation of section 13(a)(16) of the act of
    15     April 14, 1972 (P.L.233, No.64), known as The Controlled
    16     Substance, Drug, Device and Cosmetic Act.

    18     Section 2.  This act shall apply to convictions certified on

     1  or after the effective date of this act.
     2     Section 3.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
