AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for the penalty for violation of
3 the duty of a driver when approaching a school bus displaying
4 flashing red signal lights.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. Section 3345(j) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
8 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
9 § 3345. Meeting or overtaking school bus.

11 (j) Penalty.--Any person violating subsection (a) or (f.1)
12 is guilty of a summary offense and shall, upon conviction, be
13 sentenced to pay a fine of [$100] $500.
14 Section 2. This act shall apply to offenses committed on or
15 after the effective date of this act.
16 Section 3. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
