AN ACT
1 Amending Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the
2 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, providing for assignment
3 to orphans' court.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 6351 of Title 42 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 6351. Disposition of dependent child.

10 (i) Assignment to orphans' court.--A judge who adjudicated
11 the child dependent or who has conducted disposition review
12 hearings or other dependency proceedings involving the child may
13 be assigned to the orphans' court division for the purpose of
14 hearing proceedings relating to the involuntary termination of
15 parental rights, under 23 Pa.C.S. Ch. 25 Subch. B (relating to
16 involuntary termination), of the parents of the dependent child.
17 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
