                                     AN ACT

     1  Making appropriations to the Delaware Valley College of Science
     2     and Agriculture at Doylestown.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5     Section 1.  The sum of $443,000 is hereby appropriated to the
     6  Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture at
     7  Doylestown, for the fiscal year July 1, 1992, to June 30, 1993,
     8  for instruction and student aid.
     9     Section 2.  In addition to the sum appropriated under section
    10  1, the sum of $193,000 is hereby appropriated to the Delaware
    11  Valley College of Science and Agriculture at Doylestown, for the
    12  fiscal year July 1, 1992, to June 30, 1993, for the James A.
    13  Michener Center for the Arts.
    14     Section 3.  Payments to the Delaware Valley College of
    15  Science and Agriculture on account of the appropriation provided
    16  in section 1 shall be made by the Secretary of Education in
    17  equal quarterly payments.


     1     Section 4.  The Delaware Valley College of Science and
     2  Agriculture shall provide full, complete, and accurate
     3  information as may be required by the Department of Education or
     4  the majority chairman or minority chairman of the Appropriations
     5  Committee of the Senate or the majority chairman or minority
     6  chairman of the Appropriations Committee of the House of
     7  Representatives.
     8     Section 5.  The Delaware Valley College of Science and
     9  Agriculture shall report its revenues and expenditures and
    10  present its financial statements in accordance with generally
    11  accepted accounting principles and procedures for educational
    12  institutions as set forth in the "Higher Education Finance
    13  Manual (1975)" and the "Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Budget
    14  Instructions for the State System of Higher Education, State-
    15  Related Universities and Non-State-Related Colleges and
    16  Universities."
    17     Section 6.  This act shall take effect immediately.
