A RESOLUTION
1 Commemorating October 7 through 13 as "Physical Therapy Week" in
2 Pennsylvania; and encouraging our citizens to get regular
3 physical exercise.
4 WHEREAS, "Physical Therapy Week" provides citizens of the
5 State with a prime opportunity to focus their priorities on the
6 need to maintain a healthy lifestyle complete with regular
7 exercise and proper nutrition; and
8 WHEREAS, Thousands of citizens can increase their chances to
9 long life and enjoy good health by adhering to a regular
10 exercise schedule which promotes fitness and fun; and
11 WHEREAS, Citizens of all ages should enjoy the benefits of
12 exercise in an activity which will enable them to remain healthy
13 and fit; and
14 WHEREAS, Engaging in proper exercise vastly improves a
15 person's outlook on life both physically and mentally; and
16 WHEREAS, "Physical Therapy Week" provides an opportunity to
17 acknowledge and pay tribute to all physical therapy workers who
18 assist others in overcoming injuries or disabilities; therefore

2 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives recognize October
3 7 through 13 as "Physical Therapy Week"; and be it further
4 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives encourage all
5 citizens to initiate an exercise schedule during this week which
6 will enable them to enjoy the happiness and vigor which comes
7 from a healthy lifestyle.
