AN ACT
1 Amending Title 20 (Decedents, Estates and Fiduciaries) of the
2 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, further providing for
3 guardians.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 5531 of Title 20 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 5531. When accounting filed.
9 [A] (a) General rule.--Except as provided in subsection (b),
10 a guardian shall file an account of his administration whenever
11 directed to do so by the court or may file an account at the
12 termination of the guardianship, or at any other time or times
13 authorized by the court.
14 (b) Required accounts.--A guardian shall file an account
15 within three months of the date of his appointment and annually
16 thereafter.
17 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
