AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing for certain SPECIAL registration plates. <--
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
6 Statutes is amended by adding sections to read:
7 § 1350. Special plates for recipients of Silver Star.
8 Upon application of a person who is a recipient of the Silver
9 Star, ACCOMPANIED BY A FEE OF $20 WHICH SHALL BE IN ADDITION TO <--
10 THE ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE AND BY SUCH DOCUMENTATION AS THE
11 DEPARTMENT SHALL REQUIRE, the department shall issue to that THE <--
12 person a special registration plate designating the vehicle so
13 licensed as belonging to a person who is a recipient of the
14 Silver Star. THE SPECIAL REGISTRATION PLATE MAY BE USED ON ONLY <--
15 ONE PASSENGER VEHICLE OR ONE OTHER VEHICLE WITH A REGISTERED
1 GROSS WEIGHT OF NOT MORE THAN 9,000 POUNDS.
2 § 1351. Special plates for recipients of the Army Distinguished
3 Service Cross, Navy Cross or Air Force Cross.
4 Upon application of a person who is a recipient of the Army
5 Distinguished Service Cross, Navy Cross or Air Force Cross,
6 ACCOMPANIED BY A FEE OF $20 WHICH SHALL BE IN ADDITION TO THE <--
7 ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE AND BY SUCH DOCUMENTATION AS THE
8 DEPARTMENT SHALL REQUIRE, the department shall issue to that
