AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for meeting or overtaking school
3 bus.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 3345 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 3345. Meeting or overtaking school bus.

10 (f.2) Use of school buses for transportation of children for
11 recreational purposes.--Whenever a school bus is being used upon
12 the highway exclusively for the transportation of children for
13 organized recreational purposes and the school bus is equipped
14 with red signal lights, the driver of the school bus may actuate
15 the signal lights in the same manner as set forth in this
16 section regarding the transportation of school children. The
17 driver of a vehicle approaching the school bus shall have the
18 same duties regarding stopping, passing and overtaking as he
1 does with respect to a school bus carrying school children.
