AN ACT 1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated 2 Statutes, providing for application for learner's permit 3 after five years of suspension of driver's license. 4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 5 hereby enacts as follows: 6 Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated 7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read: 8 § 1554. Application for learner's permit after five years of 9 suspension. 10 After serving at least five years of continuous suspension of 11 his operating privilege, a driver may apply for a learner's 12 permit under section 1505 (relating to learners' permits) if all 13 of the following requirements are met: 14 (1) The driver has not been convicted of any violation 15 of this title which involves driving a vehicle. 16 (2) The driver has not been involved as a driver in any 17 motor vehicle accident.
1 (3) The driver pays, in addition to the fee for the 2 learner's permit: 3 (i) the reinstatement fee established in section 4 1960 (relating to reinstatement of operating privilege); 5 and 6 (ii) a fee of $100 which shall be paid into the 7 Catastrophic Loss Benefits Continuation Fund. 8 Section 2.
