                                  A RESOLUTION

     1  Recognizing the month of October 1988 as "National Cosmetology
     2     Month."

     3     WHEREAS, "National Cosmetology Month" will be observed in
     4  communities throughout the Commonwealth and across the country
     5  during October 1988 by the 50,000 members of the National
     6  Cosmetology Association; and
     7     WHEREAS, The activities of this national association of
     8  cosmetologists benefit community charities and enhance the
     9  appearance of our nation's greatest wealth, its people; and
    10     WHEREAS, The theme of 1988 National Cosmetology Month, "A New
    11  You...What Better Time Than Now," promotes self worth and
    12  personal development; therefore be it
    13     RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the
    14  Commonwealth of Pennsylvania recognize the month of October 1988
    15  as "National Cosmetology Month."
