A RESOLUTION
1 Proclaiming the week of March 15 through 21, 1987, as "Tall
2 Cedar Week" in Pennsylvania.
3 WHEREAS, March 18, 1987, marks the 85th Anniversary of the
4 Tall Cedars of Lebanon of North America; and
5 WHEREAS, The Supreme Forest of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon of
6 North America has proclaimed the week of March 15 through 21,
7 1987, to be "Tall Cedar Week"; and
8 WHEREAS, The Tall Cedars are deeply committed to the search
9 for a cure for neuromuscular diseases and continued support of
10 the Muscular Dystrophy Association's research programs through
11 the Tall Cedar Foundation; and
12 WHEREAS, The Tall Cedars of Lebanon is an asset to the
13 communities in which Forests are organized because of its
14 dedication to helping its members become citizens who are
15 socially aware and active in community programs; therefore be it
16 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the
17 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania hereby proclaims March 5 through
1 21, 1987, as "Tall Cedar Week" in Pennsylvania.
