                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of December 27, 1974 (P.L.995, No.326),
     2     entitled "An act regulating the practice of veterinary
     3     medicine and imposing penalties," providing for waiver of
     4     registration fee; and granting continuing education credits
     5     for certain persons.

     6     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     7  hereby enacts as follows:
     8     Section 1.  Section 5 of the act of December 27, 1974
     9  (P.L.995, No.326), known as the Veterinary Medicine Practice
    10  Act, is amended by adding a clause to read:
    11     Section 5.  Board Duties, Rights, Privileges and Powers.--The
    12  board may:
    13     * * *
    14     (9.1)  Waive, in its discretion, the payment of a fee and the
    15  submitting of continuing education credits for the renewal of
    16  the license of any veterinarian who submits evidence
    17  satisfactory to the board that he is retired from practice.

     1     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
